End of Semester Camp, 1st Night

Right! I finally got my lazy ass up to update my blog!

Here's the story:
A camp - September 23, night to September 25, afternoon.
It's 'round 9 PM, participants gather at the parking lot. A quick breifing and head count by lecturers and group leaders.
Approx. 10 mins later, we embark on trucks towards the camp site. (Instead of walking like last time)
Erm... camera shaky...
And so after an approx. 20 min trip, we reach our destination.
What do we do once there? We form groups. Groups for what? Groups for each tent, 5-6 each.
So, we put up our tent, then...
We get to know our group members while they are handing out sandwiches and four bottles of mineral water per person, all four of which will somehow have to last these three days. (but we obviously didn't die of thirst)

We finally retire for the day (or night) by around 3 AM. Oh, and I found a cat, too.
Man, ain't that cute.

A Café!

Next to the library (or rather part of it, they're under the same roof anyway) is the "student lounge", but I hear some refer to it as a café.
BTW, notice those window panes up there? Behind them is the library.
And I just realized just how many different lecturers my lecture group have had for the World of Cell classes. Just this one semester, there has been like, 6 of 'em?
Well, I don't have pictures of all of 'em but it's really true! I wonder if this should be considered a rare occurrence in campus?

Ok, my color timer is blinking so I'll finish this up ASAP... Shuwatch!! (Jumps and fly off into the sky, leaving behind...)

Been Rainin' Lately

It has been raining the whole morning. In fact, it has been raining for the past few days. Outdoor activities seem to be a no-no for the time being... Rainy season, I guess.

Well, a class was canceled today again, not that it matters since we're done with the syllabus anyway. Which also reminds me of the last class last week.
Class starts? 5.00 p.m. The above picture? Time stamped 17:35:12. Well, it is near the end of the semester, so classes are either over, or are rushing to complete the syllabus.
A puddle of water is left at the entrance... That exciting? Anyway, if it keeps up raining, this weekend's activity's gonna be a blow!

Classes in Turmoil?

All the classes I've attended today have had the lecturers arriving later than usual. I guess it's really not easy to adapt to teaching another batch of (degree) students out of the blue, huh?

One class was delayed by an hour. It seems that people were informed about the delayed classes, guess being disconnected from other students is not a good idea as well. Oh well, one more hour of games for me...

But all is not well as when such information is announced, people turn up late...very late. Here are shots from another class half an hour in.
Pretty empty~ People continued arriving from this point on though... up 'till a whole hour in... The lecturer has already arrived long before that. I guess it's because of the class earlier or something, but I think the other guys should have been on time anyway, especially when there is no specifics as to how late something would be delayed (presumably).

Probably the best solution right now is to quickly cope with the arrival of all the new students (even the elevator at the hostel seems to be crazily crowded most of the time...).
Here are some words of support from a cat...

Blog Presentation

Today is the day where we present our blogs for a 10% in IT. While there were many blogs shown today, many of those also coincidentally mention similar topics, like food and Sabah/Sarawak. (although what they talk about differs from one another, too.) Anyway, here are the pictures of most of the presentations. ('bout six of 'em are not included here, counting mine. Spending time to conjure up an interesting way to present instead.)

Oh, the last guy wasn't able to open his blog, won't load up or something.

And not forgetting the cat...
